SOLUTIONS and Fun Factory receive iF award

This year, the iF Product Design Award honours – among other things – the interaction between eroticism and design: Fun Factory’s vibrator “Flash” was awarded the prestigious prize in the category “Leisure and Lifestyle”. The exquisite adult toy was developed in close collaboration between in-house designer Verena Michael and SOLUTIONS Branding & Design Companies AG.

The distinguished jury of international experts was particularly taken impressed by the device’s extraordinary stylistic elements. It was not the first team effort for the international branding and design company SOLUTIONS and Fun Factory. Their previous collaboration, the pocket vibrator “Angelo”, has is already an established market success. been successfully established on the market. “The special thing about these so-called ‘Minivibes’ is their elaborate use of limited space, achieving full functionality and exquisite design in a small format – little works of art”, explains Simone Kalz, Product Manager at Fun Factory.

The internationally renowned iF Product Design Awards were established in 1953 and rank among the most important design awards in the world. In 2009, almost 2,500 entries from 39 countries competed for the coveted seal of quality.  The winning products will be presented at the iF Product Design Award Exhibition 2010 from March until August 2010 at the Hannover Exhibition Centre  Fair (Hannover’s Messe) in Germany.
